Announcement from Dr. Karim El-Basyouny, Associate Chair of Research & Development and Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alberta.
The University of Alberta will be demonstrating its commitment to diversifying the institution’s professoriate through an initiative to hire 11 Black scholars across a range of disciplines.
As part of this initiative, the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and School of Mining and Petroleum Engineering is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels who self-identify as persons of Black African or Black Caribbean descent and lived experience with a research focus on Transportation Engineering.
