Ontario Road Safety Forum, Galbraith Bldg., University of Toronto, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. November 15, 2017

Dear colleagues:

Our first Ontario Road Safety Forum was held on March 6, 2017, and was attended by over 50 people representing a broad range of road safety interests (e.g., MTO, Transport Canada, City of Toronto, Region of Waterloo, academics, consultants, MADD, CAE, Parachute). The intention was to have a networking event with an emphasis on evidence-based road safety. The feedback was so positive that we have organized another forum to take place on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, again in the Galbraith Building, at the University of Toronto.

We plan on 10 brief (5 minute) presentations on a subject of the presenter’s choice (interest, projects, work, organization, etc.). Following the brief presentations, we plan on 5 longer presentations. View the agenda – Ontario Road Safety Forum – 2nd Meeting on November 15, 2017 – Agenda

To make the best use of our time, lunch will be served in the room. There will be a $25 cash registration fee to cover lunch and morning coffee and afternoon juice and pop (whether you consume them or not).

Please indicate if you plan to attend as soon as possible and by November 1, 2017 at the latest (by emailing Dr. Smiley at asmiley@hfn.ca), so that we can arrange the lunch. Also please indicate by November 1, 2017 or earlier if possible if you would like to make one of the 10 five-minute presentations. We will only be able to accommodate 10 presenters .

We look forward to seeing you in November.
