National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims
Date(s) - Wednesday, November 20
The National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims in Canada is a day set aside to remember people killed or seriously injured on Canadian roads, often in avoidable collisions, and those left to deal with the sudden and unexpected loss of those they love. While there is no national custodian leading the announcement and promotion of this event, CARSP has committed to listing the related websites we are aware of each year. We will publish this information approximately one-month out from the Day. The websites we are searching for will have more information on the Day itself, on scheduled events and on available resources.
- RoadSafetyBC produced a helpful resource for the NDRRCV. Access it here: RoadSafetyBC Social Media Package 2019
- The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDoR) will be held next month on Sunday 17 November 2019. The European Federation of Road Victims (FEVR) has produced a toolkit including posters, banners, and a video to help you plan and implement your WDoR events. Find the toolkit HERE. Don’t forget to share your campaigns with us. Another website where you can learn more about this Day, scheduled events and resources, is: https://worlddayofremembrance.org/
