The 26th International Conference of Hong Kong Society for Transportation Studies (HKSTS), 12-13 December 2022, is now accepting papers. The theme of the 26th HKSTS Conference is “GREAT Transportation”, which aims to explore emerging technologies and innovative research to promote a Green, Resilient, Empowering, Adaptable, and Transformative (GREAT) mobility future. Practitioners and academics are cordially invited to share their knowledge, experience and insights on developing innovative solutions for solving transport related problems and challenges in the development of Smart Cities. The technical program may include plenary sessions, paper presentations and interactive sessions. For details, please visit the conference website at: www.hksts.org/conf.htm. We will be very grateful if you could, and also encourage your students and colleagues, to submit an abstract for the conference by 15 April 2022.

 Call for papers and presentations

Authors are invited to submit abstracts of 300 to 500 words to the EasyChair paper management system < https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=hksts26> by the deadline of April 15, 2022. Authors will be notified of acceptance of abstracts and full papers will be invited by May 31, 2022.

HKSTS Outstanding Dissertation Paper Award

PhD graduates who completed his/her doctoral study from a university in an Asian country or who are citizens of an Asian country are eligible to apply for this award. The applicants should have completed their PhD studies within three years (from 1 April 2019 to 31 March, 2022). An applicant should submit a CV, an extended abstract of 1,500 – 2,000 words (in English), a certificate (or equivalent), and thesis supervisor’s nomination letter (in English) to the Award Committee by 31 March 2022. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit the full dissertation at later stage. Further details can be found in:  http://www.hksts.org/ODA-Leaflet.pdf.
