CARSP Conference 2022 Registration

Welcome to the registration page for the 31st CARSP Conference. Registration is now open. This year we are very excited to offer both in-person and virtual conference attendance options, plus the plenary sessions (Keynotes and Panels) will be interpreted into French. A description of each of the in-person and virtual options is given below. Below you will also find the link to the online registration form. If you are eager to attend an in-person conference but are not sure whether something might happen to prevent you from attending, we are offering no-risk registration! You can cancel up to one week before, that is by June 11th, 2022, and still, get a full refund. Please note that to receive the CARSP members' rate, you must be logged in as a CARSP member on the CARSP website at the time of registration.

COVID-19 Information

Be sure to check out our Post-Conference Hybrid Multidisciplinary Vision Zero Symposium, to take place on Wednesday, June 22nd, immediately following the conference, in the same venue as the conference, the Sudbury Holiday Inn.  This event is co-hosted by CARSP and the Ontario Traffic Council (OTC).  Attend this event to: learn more about the history and underlying principles of VZ and how they are applied in a multidisciplinary way; hear about practical examples of successful VZ programs and about resources to support your VZ work; and put your knowledge into action, while working through a real-life case study with those from other disciplines in a small group setting.  Please note that this event will not be interpreted into French.

Registration Package Information (In-Person)

All in-person delegates to the 31st CARSP Conference are required to register for the conference and pay the required registration fees. Full registration includes the following:

  • Access for one (1) to all plenary sessions, paper sessions, and trade show area, including all breakfasts and all nutrition breaks during the conference
  • Access to all video recordings of the plenary sessions (keynote speakers and panel sessions) and paper sessions for up to six months following the conference.
  • Access for one (1) to the Welcoming Reception to be held on Sunday, June 19th
  • Access for one (1) to the lunch on Monday, June 20th
  • Access for one (1) to the Networking and Awards Banquet on the evening of Monday, June 20th

Additional meal tickets for your spouse or companion(s) for each of the Opening Reception and/or the Networking and Awards Banquet may be purchased separately (see costs below).

Registration Package Information (Virtual)

All virtually attending delegates to the 31st CARSP Conference are required to register for the conference and pay the required registration fees. Full registration includes the following:

  • Live-streaming access for one (1) to all plenary sessions (keynote speakers and panel sessions)
  • Next-day access to all video recordings of paper sessions (these are not live-streamed, but recorded, and made available the next day)
  • Access for one to the Pheedloop virtual conference platform.  This software offers the following: the ability to network (including video chat) with other virtual attendees;  access to virtual exhibit booth operators, access to the list of all conference delegates, background information on all speakers, and presentation sessions.
  • Access to all video recordings of the plenary sessions (keynote speakers and panel sessions) and paper sessions for up to six months following the conference.
  • In an effort to increase access to the CARSP Conference for all delegates from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC), CARSP is offering a low virtual registration rate for residents of LMIC countries ($25 per person).

Registration Notes

  • Ontario Traffic Council (OTC) members are being granted CARSP member rates for both the conference, as well as, the Vision Zero Symposum.
  • CARSP and Western Ergonomics are proud to bring back the Student Support Program to help support the attendance of students studying full time at a Canadian university.  Learn more about it here.
  • Speakers and moderators do not receive a discount on the conference fees. Speakers and moderators attending the entire conference, or attending for an entire day, are expected to pay the required registration fee.
  • You can only register one delegate at a time. This is done so that the registration committee can fully capture the required information for each delegate.
  • If you are not planning to attend the whole conference, day rates are available for the in-person delegates only (please see the table below).
  • Online payment is done through PayPal. Major credit cards are accepted including Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX. Delegates DO NOT require a PayPal account to submit payments online. We do not have the capacity to process credit card payments through the mail
  • Offline payment should be made by cheque. Please make your cheque out to CARSP and mail it to:

Notes:

  • Full conference registration rates include the cost of all meals, including the Welcoming Reception and the Networking and Awards Banquet.
  • To receive the student rate students must be registered full-time in an approved post-secondary institution at the time of the conference, and must not be employed full-time at the time of the conference. Students are required to show proof of post-secondary registration.
