The Institute of Police Technology and Management’s (IPTM) Symposium on Traffic Safety takes place in Orlando, Florida on June 21-24. This four-day annual training conference has two tracks: Crash Investigation/Reconstruction and DUI/Traffic Enforcement, and is a combination of what was formerly known as Special Problems in Traffic Crash Reconstruction and the Symposium on Impaired Driving Enforcement.

On the Crash, side there are breakout sessions focusing on advanced investigative techniques, EDR, new technology, and there will be live-instrumented motorcycle ACDA crash testing with full post-crash data analysis. The Symposium has been approved for 28 ACTAR CEUs.

There’s a complimentary ACTAR Prep course on Sunday, June 20, and ACTAR representatives will administer the ACTAR exam on Friday, June 25. Registration information for Pre- and Post-Conference Activities is available on our website.
