The #SlowDown campaign seeks to increase understanding of the dangers of speed and generate action on measures to address this major risk for road traffic death and injury.

We invite you to join the global campaign to #SlowDown and save lives.  Your main source for information is a new website www.unroadsafetyweek.org.

The campaign contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal target 3.6 of the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety.

National and local governments, international agencies, civil society organizations, foundations, private companies, and the public are invited to plan and host events marking the Fourth Global Road Safety Week.

As UNRSC members, you are encouraged to:

• Take the pledge
• Download a signboard and share it on social media using #SlowDown
• Organize a “Slow Down Day”
Register events in the global UN Week calendar

• Share on social media https://www.facebook.com/UNGRSW/ and https://twitter.com/UNGRSW  #SlowDown

The Managing Speed advocacy document and the Slow Down Days: Toolkit for Organizers are available on the following website http://www.who.int/roadsafety/week/2017/en/ As language versions become available they will be uploaded, so please check the site regularly.
